I decided to publish here, after few years , the most spectacular solar bursts in the decameter band captured by our Sidmonitor (The commemorative website has been moved to http://sidmonitor.rf.gd ) solar spectrometers observatories , now permanently closed. Forno, in the Western Alps and Pasturana, in the plain of Alessandria. The two old live web-pages were respectively FORNO and CALLISTO_PASTURANA .
What you see here is a collection of type II – Type IV Solar Radio Bursts coming from sun’s active regions toward our planet . For a quick reference of solar type II bursts and others please have a look at this link: https://www.atnf.csiro.au/pasa/17_1/cairns/paper/node5.html
